2026 Nonprofit Clients

South Carolina has so many organizations doing awesome work to make our communities better. This year we had a record number of applicants seeking assistance with their communications and unfortunately, we could not help everyone.

About 110 of USC’s best college students will be gearing up to help these eight nonprofits this year at the CreateAthon@USC marathon event Friday, Oct. 30 and Saturday, Oct. 31. 

Grand Strand Miracle Leagues

The organization empowers individuals with disabilities to thrive through adaptive sports and recreation. Grand Strand Miracle Leagues brings people together, inspires awareness, and builds a true sense of belonging.
Service reach: Horry and Georgetown counties and surrounding areas

Midlands Fatherhood Coalition

The organization empowers, supports and educates fathers so they can be emotionally positive and financially responsible for their children, so that their children will have brighter futures.
Service reach: Richland, Lexington, Sumter, Orangeburg, and Aiken counties

Freedom Readers

Opening doors in low-income communities to inspire a love of reading, build relationships, and create opportunity — where every parent and child discovers the power of literacy.

South Carolina Seniors Sports Classic

The organization inspires seniors to have a positive self-image and enhance their quality of life through recreational fitness, socialization, and community.

Midlands Chapter, South Carolina Native Plants Society 

The organization educates the general public, and decision-makers about the importance of native plants. Supports government agencies and partners to protect natural resources and restore habitat biodiversity and sustainability using native plants.

Environmental Education Association of South Carolina

The Organization equips, connects, and supports environmental educators throughout the state, building a strong network of professionals dedicated to fostering environmental literacy and stewardship among South Carolina's youth and communities.

Wings for Kids

Their new program, Soar with Wings, is training educators and youth-serving organizations nationwide to build social-emotional skills and turn everyday moments into opportunities to teach and build skills within kids — supporting high school graduation, positive mental health, and future workforce skills.

Lynn Brown Inspires: Young CEOs and Leaders

The organization Empowers, educates, and transforms young entrepreneurs in grades 4-12 and 17-25 year olds into Young CEOs. We work with youth on their journey of discovering their gifts, talents and passions to be leaders and entrepreneurs.
